Born and Raised in Upstate New York. I watched My mother be a wiz in the kitchen whether cooking or baking. Inspired me to attend Vocational School my senior year in Culinary Arts, Where I competed in Regional and State competitions. I’ve worked in Food in Beverage for 20 years. Attended Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island and completed my Associates of Science in Baking and Pastry Arts. Took an internship at the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island where I worked with many talented Chefs and mentors. I worked for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company for 13 years before being brought on at Southern Donut Company. My passion is for seeing the people's faces light up when they enjoy my creations, teaching others my craft and watching them grow.
“This is my invariable advice to people: Learn how to cook—try new recipes, learn from your mistakes, be fearless and above all have fun” – Julia Child
Brad Cooper
I was raised in a military family and thus am a transplant here in Fernandina. My wife and I moved to Florida in 2014 while she pursued her degree. I have worked in service and hospitality for 15 years, from startup catering companies to luxury resorts, my obsession with putting smiles on faces is only matched by my incessant dad jokes. I focus on delivering excellent service and food quality through mindful consideration and careful execution. We are looking forward to the future and to serving the community we have come to love.
“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” —John Quincy Adams
