Michelle Hillyer Hill   

Born and raised in Southern California, Michelle grew up watching her mother work culinary magic—whether baking pies or crafting savory dishes. That early inspiration led her to a career as a food formulator and restaurant consultant, with over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.

Michelle’s journey has taken her from the test kitchen at Dole Food Company in Westlake Village to leading the Saint Matthew’s Christmas Fair kitchen in Pacific Palisades. Her passion for food has earned her blue ribbons in pie contests and a spot working alongside Food Network Chef Whitney Werner at Roast. She’s also developed candy formulations for the YouChews brand, blending creativity with technical precision.

With a strong background in product development and a deep love for hospitality, Michelle brings both innovation and heart to Magnolia’s Café. Her goal is to create a dining experience that reflects the beauty of our coastal island—celebrating local flavors while warmly welcoming seasonal residents and visitors alike.
